How many times can you change a driving test?
The 2026 limit on changing a car test booking and what counts as a change.
Direct answer: Since 31 March 2026, a learner can make up to two changes to a car driving-test booking. Changing the date, time or centre counts; changing several of those details together counts as one change.

Only the learner can manage their own car-test booking. If both permitted changes have been used, the official guidance says you must cancel and make a new booking.
