Cookie policy
The cookies and browser storage used now, and what would change before advertising is enabled.
Current advertising status: no display-advertising service is active and no AdSense tag is loaded. Choosing “Accept” does not activate advertising while no advertising service is configured.
Necessary browser storage
The site uses local browser storage, rather than an account, to remember your cookie choice and up to three centre slugs for the comparison tool. These values remain on your device until you change the choice or clear the site’s storage. The static website does not send the stored preference or centre slugs to Drive Test Finder UK.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics loads only if you accept analytics cookies. It may use cookies and similar identifiers, including cookies beginning _ga, to distinguish visits and measure interactions such as pages viewed, referral sources and use of site tools. Google may receive the page URL, IP address, general location, and browser or device information when providing the service. If you reject analytics cookies, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded on later page loads. Microsoft Clarity is supported by the site software but is not currently configured.
Future advertising storage
If Google AdSense is enabled in future, Google and other eligible advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers, and process page, device, general-location and ad-interaction information. These technologies can be used to deliver and measure ads, limit ad frequency, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalise ads where the required consent has been given. Google says AdSense advertising cookies may be associated with domains such as doubleclick.net, google.com and googlesyndication.com. See how Google uses information from partner sites (opens on Google in a new tab) and how Google uses cookies (opens on Google in a new tab).
Advertising consent and vendor list
No advertising vendor currently serves ads on this website. A Google European regulations message has been configured and published for this domain in AdSense for future use. It is Google’s certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework for visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland. When advertising is enabled, it is intended to show the purposes, vendors and controls that apply at that time. The current first-party preference panel is a local script control; it is not presented as a certified advertising consent platform. The owner will verify Google’s message and consent signals before enabling the ad tag.
Change your choice
Use “Change cookie choices” in the footer at any time. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the site’s content, search or comparison tools. You can also manage Google ad personalisation in Google’s Ads Settings (opens on Google in a new tab) and clear stored data through your browser.
