Editorial and data-sources policy
The standards used for guide content, statistics, corrections and review dates.
Purpose and scope
We publish general information that helps learners understand practical driving tests and compare public test-centre statistics. We do not give legal advice, guarantee appointment availability or recommend travelling unreasonable distances to chase a single statistic.
Official sources and original wording
Changeable rules, prices and booking processes are checked against GOV.UK or DVSA material. Guides paraphrase those sources in original language and include direct links. We do not reproduce official test questions or imply that our summaries replace the official guidance.
Data updates
The owner reviews official releases monthly and updates the single test-centre dataset when new usable records are available. Statistics can be delayed. Every data-led page displays a source, data period and update date.
Guide reviews
Evergreen guides are reviewed periodically and whenever a known rule change affects them. A visible pre-launch note marks changeable facts that must be checked. The review date describes when the content was checked, not when the official rule took effect.
Corrections and errors
Despite validation and review, errors can occur. Correction requests should cite an official source. Material errors are corrected promptly and the relevant review date is updated.
Commercial independence
Advertising and any future affiliate relationship must be clearly separated from editorial content. Commercial arrangements do not change data calculations or guide conclusions.
