Methodology in brief

  • Waiting-time and appointment-availability figures come from DVSA table DRT122F.
  • Pass rates and test volumes come from the latest published DVSA centre-level pass-rate table.
  • How long learners actually waited is the median booking-to-test time for people who completed a test during the month.
  • Current appointment availability measures how far ahead DVSA looked before at least 10% of weekly appointments remained. It is not a live appointment search.
  • National figures shown here are unweighted averages of valid centre-level values. Missing values are excluded rather than treated as zero.
  • The CSV includes the source, reporting period, update date and licence URL on every record.
